Wendy
Coach Wendy is a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist with more than 20 years of coaching experience, helping neurodivergent individuals build confidence, develop practical strategies, and create lives that align with their strengths and values. She holds life and business coaching certifications through EverCoach by MindValley, affiliated with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is certified through Yale University’s Science of Well-Being program, and has a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology.
Wendy’s coaching is deeply rooted in acceptance, inclusion, and authenticity. Her Person-Centered Branding™ theory, featured in university textbooks worldwide, is based on Carl Rogers’ Person-Centered Therapy and the principle of unconditional positive regard—offering support and acceptance without judgment. She creates a safe, affirming space where clients can explore their strengths, develop self-awareness, and take steps toward the life they want, their way.
Her coaching approach blends inner work and outer action. She helps clients develop self-awareness, emotional growth, and confidence while also breaking down goals into manageable, actionable steps. She knows that success looks different for everyone, so she works alongside her clients to identify what truly matters to them and create systems that support their unique needs.
Wendy’s passion for coaching is shaped by both professional expertise and personal experience. Growing up in a family of therapists and psychiatrists, she learned early on about the power of empathy, adaptability, and meeting people where they are. At the same time, she faced her own challenges that taught her resilience and deepened her commitment to helping others navigate life with self-compassion and confidence.
That commitment became even stronger when she watched her daughter struggle with social challenges before being diagnosed as autistic. Seeing firsthand how misunderstood neurodivergent individuals can be, Wendy became even more dedicated to creating supportive spaces where clients can embrace their strengths, build confidence, and thrive.
A key part of her coaching is providing ongoing support and structure in between sessions, and she provides the systems and tools to her clients. Wendy understands that many neurodivergent individuals, especially autistic clients, benefit from clear guidance and a step-by-step approach. She excels at breaking down complex goals into practical, achievable actions, ensuring that progress feels manageable rather than overwhelming.
Wendy specializes in time management, personal productivity and organization, executive functioning, self-advocacy, interpersonal communication, neuroscience, and even humor, to support well-being. She helps clients develop systems and routines tailored to their individual needs, introducing neurodivergent-friendly tools and accommodations to reduce overwhelm and foster independence. With a background in personal branding, she also supports clients in presenting themselves authentically in personal and professional settings, highlighting their unique strengths and contributions.
For Wendy, coaching is not just a career—it’s a calling. She finds deep fulfillment in helping clients shift from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling capable, confident, and in control of their own lives. She celebrates every win, from small moments of self-discovery to major milestones like securing a job, setting boundaries, or building meaningful relationships. She also enjoys working with families, helping parents better understand and support their neurodivergent children in ways that foster connection and trust.
Outside of coaching, Wendy enjoys daily meditation, movement, and creative expression. She loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, deep conversations with close friends, and finding humor in everyday life. Comedy has always been a big part of her world—her husband is a former comedy writer, her daughter performed with The Groundlings, and she spent years running an entertainment charity co-founded by Jim Carrey and Eckhart Tolle, where she saw firsthand how humor can heal, connect, and inspire. She also enjoys musical theatre, personal growth workshops, Pilates, and road trips—as long as someone else is driving!
Wendy’s mission is to help neurodivergent individuals and families build connection and confidence, embrace their strengths, and create lives that they love. She envisions a future where neurodivergent people are not just accommodated, but truly valued and celebrated—and she is committed to making that vision a reality, one client at a time.
